Podiatry, also known as chiropody, is a regulated by the Government appointed Health Professions Council, which ensures standards of practice.

Who should see a Podiatrist?

Anyone with foot problems or with concerns about their feet.

Patients with high risk feet, linked to conditions like diabetes, rheumatology, poor circulation or compromised immune systems. This group of people should get regular foot health checks.

What to expect

When you first come to the clinic, you will be asked some questions about your general health and medication, as these can affect the way we treat your feet.

Your appointment will normally last 30 minutes during which time we will treat your foot complain and explain the treatment plan if necessary.
